Amahl and the Night Visitors, a delightful Christmas one-act opera for the whole family, will be presented by Hedgehog & Feather Theatre Company at Holy Trinity Church (corner of Westfield Avenue and First Street) in Westfield on December 15 and 16 from 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm. This enchanting musical piece was first seen as a live television performance on Christmas Eve 1951 and has became a holiday staple ever since. It tells the story of a poor shepherd boy and his mother who are visited by the Three Kings on their way to visit the infant Jesus. During the evening something wonderful occurs. The talented ensemble includes 29 singers and dancers of all ages and a six piece orchestra .
