Hanson Park Applauds Donation from Knights of Columbus

  • July 13, 2012

In a press release from Hanson Park Concervancy:

The Cranford Council of the Knights of Columbus, long recognized for their valuable service to the community, recently made a generous donation to Hanson Park Conservancy (HPC).  Diane Walsh President of HPC accepted a gift of $500.00 presented by Knights Trustee, Luis A. Bringuier.  These funds will be put to work toward the further restoration of the family friendly park on Springfield Avenue near the Canoe Club.

Cranford organizations, individual citizen donors and a loyal membership have long been the backbone of the transformation of the little park.  Trustees of HPC would like to express their gratitude to all these faithful friends with a special “Thanks” at this time to the Knights of Columbus.

HPC Trustees would also like to announce ---: “The Race is On!”.  Back by popular demand, October 7 th 2012 will be
the day the Rubber Duckies take over the river for a race to the finish.  Expect the unexpected, but whatever you do
clear your calendar for October 7th. Everyone you know will be there so don’t miss out!  For more information, visit HPC at www.Hansonparkconservancy.com.
