The YWCA Eastern Union County (EUC) is actively recruiting committed, reliable and sympathetic individuals to become volunteers interested in ending the cycle of
domestic violence and creating real change in our communities.

Volunteer positions available include:

*Domestic Violence Response Team

*24-Hour Hotline

*Childcare Services

*Administrative and Fundraising Support

*Donation Support

*Legal Advocacy

*Shelter and Housing Support

YWCA EUC’s free Domestic Violence Certification program begins on Monday, January 28th and is open to all prospective volunteers. For more information on how to get involved, please contact Lana Sacks, Coordinator.

YWCA’s mission is eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

In 1978, in response to the growing concern about domestic violence in Union County, the YWCA EUC established Project Protect to provide emergency shelter for battered women and their children. Today, they are recognized as the lead domestic violence agency in Union
County, with a full range of services provided.
