Disaster Unemployment Assistance Deadline Is Today
Hurricane Sandy survivors can still apply for disaster unemployment assistance.
The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency and other national agencies will test the Emergency Alert System nationwide at 11 a.m. PST on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011.

Registration closes today, Monday, Feb. 4., for Hurricane Sandy survivors to apply for disaster unemployment assistance.
