1. Gift Auction. Get the chance to win an Apple iPad and a 42-inch LCD television tonight at a drawing in the school auditorium of St. John the Apostle in Clark. 2.  Black Achievers Banquet. The annual Westfield Y Black Achievers Banquet will take place today from 6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. at Westwood in Garwood. This is a major fundraiser for the Black Achievers, enabling youth to participate free of cost. The keynote speaker will be congressman Rush Holt. 3. Opening night. The Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway is holding an opening night for the play "According to Goldman" at 8 p.m. After the final scene, join the director and cast for a toast to celebrate. The play, written by Bruce Graham, focuses on a film professor and his quirky, imaginative film student Jeremiah.

4. Arthur Miller comes to Westfield. The Westfield Community Playhouse presents "A View From the Bridge" by Arthur Miller, through March 26. Tickets are $20. For more information call (908) 232-1221.

5. Art exhibit. The Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit is hosting an exhibition by a contemporary impressionist painter, Lisa Palombo through May 8. For more information call (908) 273-8787.
