Nominations were accepted through July 9.
Winners in all Readers' Choice categories will be announced on Aug. 24.

Diamatsu....horrible....but not if you like neon-pink mystery "stuff" over your sushi. Sorry....but I have to eat sushi in Manhattan.....usually Blue Ribbon in Soho.....you get what you pay for....it's known as fresh and quality. Sorry NJ.

Mizu Sushi is the freshest, most innovative, beautifully presented sushi and Japanese cuisine. We are so fortunate to have this "gem" in Cranford. It is family owned by Johnnie and his wife, Irene, who make every guest feel welcome.

Although the (3) places are all really good. Get the Salmon Skin Roll at Avenue East - will go toe-to-toe with any roll in the area! Although NOT on the menu....ask for it!!!
