Cranford police, this morning, said that recycling resumes today. Here is the text of a Nixle alert released this morning.

Northside recycling pickup will continue today, 1/16/13. Those residents who live on the Northside and did not have their recycling picked up on 1/15/13 are asked to leave the items at the curb for pickup today. Any questions contact the Cranford Health Department at 908-709-7299.

Follow these steps to sign up for Nixle alerts.

1.  From any cell phone, text the zip code ( 07016) to 888777.  In this way, you will receive text messages only.

2.  Go to www.nixle.com and register.  You must enter a valid email address with the option of entering a cell phone as well.  If you choose this method, you will receive information via email and/or text message.
