Democrats Declare Victory in Cranford

Democrats Ed O'Malley, Kevin Campbell win two Township Committee seats, according to unofficial results from the township clerk.

 

The Democrat candidates for Township Committee, Ed O'Malley and Kevin Campbell, have declared victory based on election results from the township clerk.

Campbell received the highest votes, garnering a total of 3,792 votes. O'Malley followed close behind, receiving 3,618 votes.

In the race for two township committee seats, the Democrats faced Republican incumbent Mark Smith, the current mayor, and newcomer Republican candidate Andis Kalnins.

Kalnins came in third, with 3,467 votes, while Smith trailed with 3,360 votes.
