Tree Time: Where To Shop For Trees and Wreaths

Check out a few local places where Christmas trees and holiday wreaths are being sold and answer our poll question about your holiday tree preferences.

It's time to deck the halls, and for many people, that means bringing home a real Christmas tree. The following is a list of places where you can purchase a tree, wreath or grave blanket for the holidays.

  • Dreyer Farms offers a variety of fresh cut evergreens. The farm stand, located at 831 Springfield Ave., sells fraiser firs, balsam fir and concolor fir tees. They also have several types of wreaths and small, potted plants and trees to decorate your home for the holidays. To find out which variety of live tree fits best in your home, browse photos at the National Tree Association. Price range: about $20-200. For more information, call 908-276-1290.
  • Cranford Boy Scout Troop 80 will continue its holiday wreath sale through this afternoon at First Presbyterian Church, located at the corner of North Uniona dn Springfield avenues.
  • Williams Nursery , located at 524 Springfield Avenue in Westfield, also offers a selection of live trees.
  • For those who prefer artificial trees, Target on Central Avenue in Clark sells trees in several shapes, sizes and colors as well as trees that come already decorated with lights.
