Cranford Library's Classic Film Night

The Cranford Public Library is continuing their ongoing Classic Film Night.  The films run the gamut from mystery, comedy and romance, to thrillers and melodramas.  Tonight's film will be Going to Town - (1935).  Directed by Alexander Hall, starring Mae West and Paul Cavanaugh.  This film is 71 minutes long.

To review the list of films in the series, visit the library web site at www.cranford.com/library and click on “Events.”  NOTE: The films will be shown at the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue, unless otherwise noted.  Admission is free and all are welcome.  For further information about the series, call the library at 908-709-7272 and ask for Fran Housten.

Cranford Community Center is open to all residents of Cranford. It offers a game room with pool tables, ping-pong tables, an air hockey table, a foosball table, as well as a space to play basketball and a lounge with TVs and vending machines.

Residents can use the facilities after showing a Cranford High School ID card, driver's license or a current utility bill to prove their Cranford residency. The community center is also home to a vast schedule of sports and activities for children, teens and adults.
