 ership is open to anyone in career transition\, including unemployed\, u
 nderemployed individuals and recent college graduates in the fields of b
 usiness\, non-profit\, and education\, as well as persons re entering th
 e job market\, struggling small business owners and anyone looking for p
 art-time or volunteer work.\nNhN Mission\nNhN is a network of volunteer 
 peer support groups that follow a community-based approach to help under
 -employed and unemployed residents get back to work.&nbsp\; NhN embraces
  a &lsquo\;pay it forward&rsquo\; ethos\, asking all associates to contr
 ibute to other members by sharing job search techniques\, related profes
 sional career development resources\, personal referrals and generally p
 roviding a forum where members feeling empowered\, energized and focused
  on the job search.\nGoals\n\nProvide compassionate\, nonjudgmental supp
 ort to members through networking\, coaching\, leadership experience\, a
 nd camaraderie.\nPartner with community business leaders to match member
 s with job openings and volunteer and or paid consulting opportunities.\
 nExpand network reach throughout local communities where there is a need
  and interest in the New York-New Jersey metro area and expansion into o
 ther states.\n\n&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Core B
 ehaviors\n\nBe positive in approach and encourage others to remain posit
 ive when facing the inherent challenges of the job search.\nBe compassio
 nate and firm\, as needed\, to maintain productive meeting atmosphere an
 d consistent results orientation. \nBe active in respective home towns b
 y developing the group and its role in each community.\nTake the extra s
