What you need to know today, Oct. 8, in Cranford

Science Program, Ages 3-6: 
Science Matters classes run from Oct. 8 through Nov. 12 on Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m. or  1 p.m. Open to Cranford residents only, ages three through six. Register online or in person.  Go to www.cranford.com/rec for more information.

Meetings:  The Cranford Committee will host its official meeting at 8 p.m.  in the council chambers at the Cranford Municipal Building. On the agenda is the final reading of an ordinance instating fees for the re-inspection of any food establishment by the Board of Health. Check back with Patch for more.

Create Your Own Film: Make your own HD Digital Film with a course at Union County College. The cost of the course is $299. The instructor will teach you how to make all types of production, including how to write, shoot and edit for film production in HD.
