Networking event: 
The Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce will network at the JCC in Scotch Plains at 8 a.m. No RSVP needed, free of charge. More, here.

Centennial Ave Closures: Road work is happening for roughly ten days on different sections of Centennial Avenue. The road will be resurfaced by the County of Union from North Ave. to Lincoln Ave. and to Raritan Road to Wall St.

Sports: Girls Soccer vs. Elizabeth (away) at 4 p.m. Field Hockey vs. Summit (away) at 4 p.m. Girls Tennis vs. Johnson (away) at 4 p.m. Boys Soccer vs. Delaware Valley (Home) at 4 p.m. Girls Volleyball vs. American History (Home) at 4:30 p.m.

Classic Film: ‘Paris When it Sizzles’ 36929 will screen at the Cranford Community Center at 7 p.m.

Silhouettes: Book your appointment or send in your photo to have a silhouette done of you or your children by nationally recognized silhouette artist Clay Rice. Rice will visit Periwinkle’s on Oct. 3. He will also sing from his award-winning children’s book.
