What you need to know today, Oct. 17, in Cranford.

Sports: Oct. 17:  Field Hockey vs. Glen Ridge (away) at 4 p.m. Girls Tennis vs. Elizabeth (away) at 4 p.m. Girls Soccer vs. Westfield at 4 p.m., Girls Volleyball vs. Golda Och (away) at 4 p.m. 

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe: A free performance of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will be held at Orange Avenue School for senior citizens at 4:30 p.m. additional performances will be held on Oct. 18 and 19 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. for the public. Tickets are $7.

Four Centuries in a Weekend: The Crane-Phillips house will be a part of Union County’s annual, “Four Centuries in a Weekend” event. Read more about it, here
