Beauty for a Cause Sept. 22

"More Than" A Cut -a-Thon Sept. 22

Did you know that the Union County homeless population leapt by 25% this year? You can help provide assistance to those in need, and get pampered too, by taking part in the "More Than” a Cut-a-Thon—Beauty for a Cause—on Sunday Sept. 22, 2013 at Guillotine Salon & Spa in Westfield.

The Guillotine Salon and the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford are working together to help raise monies to support homelessness. Services provided include a Woman’s Haircut Only - $30; Woman’s Haircut with Blow Dry -$40 (please specify you would like a blow dry when calling); Men’s Haircut - $20; Children’s Haircuts (ages 11 & under) $15; Blow Dry - $25; Braids - $15; Manicure - $10; Shellac Gel Manicure - $25; Pedicure - $25 and Microdermabrasion - $50—and 100% of all proceeds will be donated to Homelessness, Hunger & Poverty programs. Programs include Agape Community Kitchen, Elizabeth Coalition for the Homeless, Habitat for Humanity, Community Foodbank of NJ, Cranford Family Care, Furniture Assist, Elmora Soup Kitchen, Home First and FISH.

The salon will also raffle off “beauty baskets” as well as a 50/50 during the event.
