HAVE A HEART BLOOD DRIVE AT THE WESTFIELD AREA Y

The Westfield Area Y believes we have a social responsibility to help others in need and is hosting a blood drive on Sunday, December 29th from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm in the Kellogg Room at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield. The blood drive will be facilitated by New Jersey Blood Services. There are people who are counting on you and can’t live without it! In order to give blood, you must be in generally good health, weigh 110 pounds or more and be at least 17 years of age, or 16 years old with parental consent. Please remember to bring ID and have plenty to eat or drink the day of the blood drive.

For questions about medical eligibility, please call 1-800-933-2566 or visit www.nybloodcenter.org. To make an appointment in advance, please call Jean Cruz at (908) 233-2700 x417 or email jcruz@westfieldynj.org. Walk-ins are also welcome.

The Y is the nation’s leading nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Visit westfieldynj.org to learn more about Westfield Area Y programs. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
