REGISTRATION OPEN FOR MUSICAL THEATRE & MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE CLASSES

The Pineda Conservatory is currently accepting registrations for its musical theatre and musical theatre dance classes held in Scotch Plains at the First United Methodist Church at 1171 Terrill Road.  Performances for all classes will be held at the Cranford Dramatic Club Theatre.  Classes are taught by a staff of professional performers and educators including Juan Pineda (musical theatre) who spent over 10 years on Broadway, Ra-Sean Holloway (dance) who also performed nationally, most notably with the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and Valerie Pineda (voice) who studied at Manhattan School of Music and is founder of Pineda Lyric Opera.  Classes are offered for grades 2 and up.  Musical Theatre classes meet on Wednesdays and will include a performance in December and a fully staged show in June to be held at the Cranford Dramatic Club Theatre in Cranford.  Dance classes will focus on musical theatre dance and will include technique, ballet and choreography.

The Conservatory is particularly excited about our all mens class for high schoolers held on Thursday nights at 7:30.  "We started the class last year and it was an enormous success.  Young men with an interest in dance or becoming better movers participated.  Many of them saw great improvements in their skill level and comfort level at auditions.  We are proud to offer this again this year." said Valerie Pineda.  For more about classes and registration visit www.pinedaconservatory.com or call 908-731-1377
