Thanksgiving Day has come and gone. It’s time to make your list, check it twice and mark your calendar for festive family fun this holiday season! The Westfield Area Y’s holiday round up starts with the Westfield Y’s Men’s Club annual tree lot sale at the Elm Street Field in Westfield. All proceeds benefit the Westfield Area Y and other community organizations. The lot is now open and hours are as follows: Weekdays from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and weekends: 9:00 am-6:00 pm until December 23rd. Questions regarding the tree lot? Enjoy festive family fun at the Y’s Lunch with Santa at the Main Y located at 220 Clark Street in Westfield on Sunday, December 8thfrom 12:30-2:00 pm. Participants will enjoy lunch, a photo with Santa, sing Christmas Carols and have fun with their family. Tickets can be purchased in advance at any Westfield Area Y location, children under age two are free and all proceeds benefit the Strong Kids Campaign.
Active adults can join friends and Y staff for food, fun and fellowship at the Holiday Party on Thursday, December 19th from 12:30-2:00 pm. Julian Hernandez, award-winning singer-songwriter, returns to the Y to entertain with his faithful renditions of Nat King Cole, Elvis, Frank Sinatra and Barry White.
