Cerebral Palsy League Hosts Summer Parent Workshop Series

The series will kick-off on June 13.


The following information was provided by the Cerebal Palsy League.

The Cerebral Palsy League plans to hold a series of five workshops over the summer designed for parents who have family members with a disability. The series kicks off on Thursday June 13 at 6:30 PM with a workshop for parents with high school students who have special needs. The second part of the series is Wednesday, June 19 at 6:00 PM with a discussion on changes to New Jersey’s service delivery system for children with developmental disabilities.

The session on Monday July 15 at 6PM will provide the opportunity for parents to share stories about working with a disabled family member. The fourth in the series on July 26 at Noon focuses on augmentation devices.

The final session on Friday, August 9 at Noon concerns occupational Therapy.
