Rummage Sale at Trinity Cranford – May 4th & 5th

The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of Trinity Episcopal Church in Cranford is holding a Rummage Sale on Friday May 4, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and on Saturday May 5, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon in Sherlock Hall at Trinity Episcopal Church. Trinity is located at 119 Forest Avenue (the corner of North and Forest Avenues) in Cranford, NJ.  “We will be selling gently used clothing for men, women, and children and glassware, linens, jewelry, and knick knacks all at low prices,” said Maryalice Hearle, Rummage Sale Coordinator.  Proceeds from the sale will be used to help pay for the damage to the church from Hurricane Irene and the ECW operating fund. “Our goal is to provide some assistance to people in the Cranford area during these challenging times,” Mrs Hearle continued.

The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) is women of all ages, ethnic origins and socioeconomic backgrounds who hold a variety of views. However, the common denominator of our members is love of God and the wish to do His work. Centered in congregations, the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) empowers women to do Christ’s ministry in the world. The Trinity Cranford ECW gathers together for prayer, fellowship and service on the a variety of projects including scholarships for college students, fundraising for building projects, supplying, assuring that special events have appropriate reception and hospitality.

Trinity Episcopal Church is a family church that has been serving the needs of Cranford area families for generations since 1872.  Sunday services are at 8 AM Mass  Rite I (said)  and 10 AM Mass Rite II (Sung) and are celebrated by The Reverend Gina Walsh-Minor, Rector, Trinity Episcopal Church.  Everyone is cordially invited to attend. Trinity Parish serves our community through the sponsorship of Trinity Episcopal Day School (TEDS) for area families.
