Cranford Climate Change Expert Set for Talk Today at Community Center

Mary Reilly will be present "Irene, Sandy, and Global Climate Change" at the Community Center at 7:30.

"Living sustainably would enhance community lives," said Mary Reilly who will be presenting a talk on global climate change tonight at the Community Center.

"Like someone who looses weight, stops smoking, and gets in shape.  It would be hard at first, but after not too long, they'd wonder, 'Why didn't I start this sooner.'

Reilly, a Cranford resident and captain of the Environmental Commission's Green Team will host and interactive session that involves games and prizes. "The workshop will bring the information on the myths and realities of global climate change to life in an upbeat, interactive way," she said.

Reilly said she has been involved in the study of the balance of people, profit, and planet since 2008, and has earned certificates in LEED, GHG Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
