Road Work Ongoing This Week in Cranford
Springfield Avenue between West End Place and Penn Road one of several work areas in town.
Roadwork in Cranford is ongoing this week. The Cranford Police Department sent out a Nixle alert informing residents to use caution in the road work areas and to expect possible delays.
The following roadways are being worked on:
Springfield Avenue between West End Place and Penn Road road work will take place after 10 a.m. The southbound lane will be closed (heading toward Downtown). Dreyer Farms is accessible from northbound Springfield Avenue. Those coming from Penn Road area can inform the police officer on scene that they are going to Dreyers and the officer will allow them through, according to Cranford PD.
NJ American Water continues utility work on Orchard Street this week, starting about 7:30 a.m. each day.
Also, Centennial Avenue at the Cayuga jug handle road work begins around 7:30 a.m. this week. At least one lane in each direction will be open.
