What Changes Would You Like to See in Cranford in 2014?

What are you hoping to see happen this coming year?

With the arrival of a new year, Patch wants to know: what resolutions would you make for the Township of Cranford?

In 2014, the Township Committee will be joined by two new republicans, Bob D'Ambola and Mary O'Connor and a new Township Attorney will be voted on come Wednesday.

The Raritan Valley Rail Line is set to have off-peak direct service into Manhattan beginning in March. Although passengers would like peak service into the city, the Raritan Valley Rail Coalition calls this a step in the right direction.

Several new businesses are set to open in Downtown Cranford including a Starbucks and Fresh Press Juice Co., among others.

The Township has also been working to begin de-snagging and de-silting of the Rahway River in 2014 to clear up the river from debris and reduce flooding.
