Dynamic Figure Drawing and Anatomy Workshop at AGNJ - Register Today!

Intended for students with some life drawing experience, Dynamic Figure Drawing and Anatomy will push your drawing abilities to the next level. The core objective of the workshop is to see the gesture of the model and accurately place it on the paper. Along the way students will learn to exaggerate and enhance the pose with demos by the instructor illustrating anatomical construction and landmarks. While not an in-depth anatomy class, the subject will be addressed in order to better grasp the mechanics of the human body. This workshop will take place on March 10th, 2012, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for a fee of $95, which includes a live model.

Julian Tejera, instructor for the Dynamic Figure Drawing workshop, received his BFA in Illustration from the Art Institute of Boston in 2008. After graduation he began working at the Montclair Art Museum where he continues to teach teen and adult classes. He has also taught at the Visual Art Center in Summit, Riverdale Art Center, and summer camp at his alma mater in Boston.  To see examples of his work, visit http://painterification.blogspot.com
