A friend of mine gave me a gift certificate for $50 to this store to purchase my daughter's Christening gown. I couldn't afford to christen her right after she was born and waited until she was 7 months old. The gift certificate expired after one year and the store owner REFUSED to honor it! It was only a couple months expired and she stated that she would be "losing money" on the gown if she allowed me to use the gift certificate! So the money my friend gave this store just magically disappeared I suppose?? This is just bad business! In this economy I cannot believe she would turn away business and a possible customer that would come back for other items. Before I left I asked her one last time, "So you'd rather lose my business then let me use this certificate?" The owner shook her head yes and I walked out. I'm sure my $50 ended up in her salary. Glad my friend could support her family instead of clothing mine.
