At Riverfront, Starbucks will be opening, as well as Pastosa, a family-owned, third-generation Italian specialty Food Company that specializes in ravioli, fresh pasta and other Italian specialties.
Starbucks is looking at an opening date in February, according to Kathleen Prunty, the Office of Business and Economic Development Director. She added that Fresh Press Juice Co., is also looking at a February opening date at 105 South Avenue East. Sisters Lauren Miller and Deven Burgio are launching Fresh Press, which will feature organic fresh cold press juices, juice cleanses, salads, smoothies, muffins and frozen treats. All offerings will be organic, dairy-free and vegan.
Also, Smiley’s Bagels will be opening at Cleveland Plaza in the former location of Big E’s Bagels.
On Centennial, 100 Steps Raw Bar and Supper Club has recently opened its doors.
The establishment serves seafood, such as raw
oysters, clam belly sandwich, littleneck clams and American dishes such as lamb
rib chop, fried potatoes with chicken skin, fried artichokes and more. View the
Owners Jim and Andrea also own A Toute Heure in Cranford. Both locations will be closed for a winter break until Jan. 13. A grand opening for 100 Steps will be held after the break.
