Downtown Cranford Businesses Give Back

As many of us stress over buying gifts and baking cookies this holiday season, the truth is that there’s many people who have much more pressing concerns. Below are some of the ways that downtown Cranford businesses are giving back to the community and helping those in need. If you know of any local businesses that should be added to this list please let us know. We thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

A&W Chiropractic Center (126 South Ave East) – They will be collecting new children’s pajamas and new children’s books to provide to children at shelters. You can drop off or mail a donation in.

Dinner in a Pinch (1 South Ave East) – The local takeout favorite is running a “Feed the Need” Dinner Drive. From now through December 27th, Dinner in a Pinch will be giving a needy family $75 towards dinner, and also donating a percentage from each order. If you would like to donate, or tell them of a family in need, please call them at 908-272-5136.

Kilkenny House (112 South Ave East) – The Irish pub will host its fourth annual “Caroling for Cranford” fundraiser featuring the Cranford Madrigal Choir on Dec. 23, from 5 – 10 p.m. The event will raise funds for the Cranford High School music program. Kilkenny will also be taking donations for Cranford Care’s Toys for Tots drive. Donations can be dropped off until December 23.

think d’sign print (11 North Ave East) – Through December 19 the store will be collecting forToys for Tots. If you would like to donate, just drop off an unwrapped toy for a child ages 2-17.
