FAZIOLI Piano Loft Concert Series- Fred Hersch
Where: Union County Performing Arts Center, 1601 Irving St., Rahway

Bird Day: Skies Alive Family Festival
Where: The Newark Museum, 49 Washington St., Newark
What: Fun-filled bird-themed day featuring hands-on activities. Each visiting family assimilates a flock of migrating birds, receives a passport, and migrates from one activity to another. Visitors go on bird walks in the garden, participate in a bird migration challenge, play bird bingo, dissect owl pellets, imitate bird movements at the bird exercise activity, and get their faces painted.

Indoor Fossil Dig
