Film: "Glory" (1989, 122 minutes)

As part of a continuing joint effort to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, the Cranford Public Library and the Cranford Historical Society are pleased to present a screening of Glory. Glory is based on the true story of the all black 54th Regiment of the Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry. The film stars Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, and Matthew Broderick. Historical Society Trustee Steven Glazer will introduce the film and talk about Cranford’s historical connection to the 54th Regiment.
