New Jersey-
Cranford's "Shining Stars,” will be performing the third

annual variety





show, on Wednesday May 14th at

7 p.m. at Hillside Avenue School. The children perform a





variety of performances to raise money for ARC, a

nonprofit organization with six decades of





service in Union County.  ARC provides recreational and support

services to individuals with





intellectual and developmental disabilities and

their families.  They serve approximately

one





thousand children and continue to grow daily.  All children with an IEP, between the ages of





three and seventeen in the Cranford School system

are encouraged to participate.





This year’s theme, “No Stopping Us Now”,

provides children with the support to achieve





 





anything

they put their minds to.  No auditions, everyone

is a star in the show!  Tickets will be





 





sold

at the door for $5.00. Sally Curci, director of the show states, “Giving these

children a





 





chance

to shine on stage is immeasurable, they exceed the audiences expectations and

leave





 





children

with a sense of pride and accomplishment.” 

All donations and proceeds go to the ARC of
