UCC Hosts Halloween 5K Run/Walk
The event will take place in Nomahegan Park on Oct. 26.
Union County College will host a Halloween 5K Race and Fun walk on Oct. 26 in Nomahegan Park.
The race begins at 9 a.m. and the parent and children fun walk/run will follow. Male and female age groups are as follows: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
Runners/walkers are encouraged to wear costumes. There will a consume contest with awards in the “Best Overall Costume” category for kids ages 0-13 and adults 14 and up.
The entry fee is $25 per person and $12 for those 13 and under. Each entrant will receive a custom t-shirt. Candy will also be available throughout the walk.
Registration forms are available at http://www.unionowls.com/5K. The form appropriate for your needs should be downloaded and mailed back to Union County College.
