BIO: Stacey Barbossa

Stacey is a two-time Ironman and 10-time marathoner.  She has raced XTERRA off-road triathlons and competed in adventure racing.  A foot injury while training for the Boston Marathon in 2009 forced her to gravitate to bike racing.  Stacey races for the Midatlantic Colavita Women's Team.  She is a Category 3 road racer (time trials, criteriums, road races, stage races), a Category 1 mountain biker and a Category 1/UCI Elite Cyclocross racer.  Stacey is a multi-time NJ State Champion. She finished 7th in the 2013 USA Cycling Short Track Cross Country National Championship. She won the bronze medal at the USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships in 2012 and 2013 in her age group and finished 22nd in the Nation overall in the Elite race. When Stacey is not off riding her bike, she works as a chiropractor so she can buy new bikes! Oh yeah, she loves Count Chocula cereal!
