Cranford Blotter: Cranford Woman Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

April 21, 2013: Ptl. Spencer Durkin arrested Erica Dilcher, 18 and Jared Mullen, 19, of Clark for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana (less than 50g) and Possession of Paraphernalia. Ptl. Durkin stopped a 1997 beige Nissan for failure to yield as it exited the Garden State Parkway at Centennial Ave/Cayuga Rd.  Following an investigation at the scene he located suspected marijuana and a crack pipe inside the vehicle.  Additional suspected cocaine was located on the person of the driver, Dilcher.  Both the driver and the passenger, Mullen, were arrested.  They were processed and released pending a first appearance in Superior Court.

April 22, 2013: At 3:19 p.m. Ptl. William Pietrucha arrested Elizabeth Mattson, 49 of Cranford for Driving While Intoxicated at Centennial Avenue. According to police, following numerous reports of a possible intoxicated driver, police located a 2002 blue Jeep in a parking lot on Centennial Ave.  Ptl. Pietrucha conducted an investigation at the scene and arrested the driver, Mattson, for Driving While Intoxicated.  She was processed and released pending a first appearance in Cranford Municipal Court.

April 22, 2013: At 11:30 p.m.Ptl. Spencer Durkin arrested Max Ricco, 18, of Avenel for Possession of Marijuana (under 50g), Possession of Paraphernalia at Centennial Ave/Cayuga Road.

According to police, a 1994 blue Saab was stopped for an overdue inspection sticker.  Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Durkin located suspected marijuana inside the vehicle and arrested the driver, Ricco.  He was processed and released pending a first appearance in Cranford Municipal Court.
