Cranford Woman Found With Heroin, Crack in Stolen Car After Traffic Stop, Police Say

A Cranford woman faces multiple charges after a New Providence traffic stop.

Police say Alison Stochlinski had heroin, crack, cocaine and hypodermic needles in a stolen car when Detective Donald Sretenovic pulled her over on Thursday, Dec. 19.
Sretenovic noticed front-end damage to the vehicle Stochlinski was driving when she passed him on Springfield Avenue, according to a press release issued by the New Providence Police Department.

A license plate check found the Pennsylvania-registered 2013 Chevy Cruz had been reported stolen out of Lodi. 

Stolen checks belonging to a Chatham resident and a Summit resident were also found in the car, according to police.

Stochlinski was charged with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic syringe, forgery and two counts of receiving stolen property.

Bail was set at $15,000 by Judge Donald Bogosian.
