On Friday Ptl. Brian Wagner arrested an 18-year-old male from Garwood for driving while intoxicated and underage. He was also issued a summons for  speeding and for driving past the hours allowed by his provisional license.

The officer first stopped his vehicle, a 1999 green Honda, after spotting it speeding on Lexington Avenue. After smelling alcohol in the car, the driver flunked sobriety tests given by Wagner.  His municipal court date is scheduled for today.
