Police Arrests: Stop Sign Violations, Outstanding Warrants

Cranford police activity from September 8-15.

Cranford police made two arrests last week. The first arrest was made after a driver ran a stop sign. The second occurred after police responded to reports of a disorderly person. Details below:

Saturday, September 12:
Police stopped a vehicle on North Lehigh Avenue at 3:11 a.m. for running a stop sign. The driver, Sean Thompson, 31, from Clark was arrested for driving while intoxicated as well as with stop sign violation.

Tuesday, September 15:
Police responded to Quine Street at 1:28 a.m. after receiving a report of a disorderly person. Cranford resident Steven Cady, 38, was arrested for possession of prescription pills as well as for outstanding warrants from Elizabeth.
