Police Blotter: Drivers Arrested On Outstanding Warrants

The following information was received from the Cranford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

June 27

  • At 2:10 p.m., Patrolman John Rattigan stopped a 1988 Ford Pickup for motor vehicle violations. Subsequent to the investigation Ptl. Rattigan arrested the driver, Ronald Lyles, 48, of Plainfield, on an active $500 traffic warrant out of Metuchen. Lyles was released to the Metuchen Police Department. 

June 29

  • At 1:56 p.m. Patrolman Timothy O’Brien stopped a 2002 Subaru for a motor vehicle violation on North Avenue East near Miln Street. As a result of the investigation the driver, Mathew Dudley, 22 of Chatham, was arrested for an active criminal warrant out of Fanwood in the amount of $314. Dudley was released with a Fanwood court date of July 12.
