Police Make DWI Arrests

Police activity from February 1-7.

Cranford police made two driving while intoxicated arrests last week. Details:

Thursday, February 4:
Officer Eugene Perrotta stopped a vehicle for driving carelessly on Centennial Avenue at the Cayuga jug handle at 10:36 p.m. Through further investigation the 35-year-old driver from Cranford was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was also charged with careless driving and driving without insurance.

Friday, February 5:
Officer Nadia Jones stopped a vehicle at 2:08 a.m. on Centennial Avenue near South Avenue for making a careless right hand turn. Through further investigation the 31-year-old Cranford driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She was also issued a summons for careless driving.
