Police Say Clark Car Break-Ins Aren't Connected to Cranford

Cranford police say residents should always lock their cars for security.

On Tuesday Clark police issued an advisory alert to their residents warning them to lock their cars following two break-ins on Grand Street.

Locally, township police said there wasn't any connection to Cranford. According to Sgt. Gerard Quinn, "The two vehicle break-ins that occurred in Clark did not occur in an area that borders Cranford and do not appear connected to any crimes or incidents in Cranford."

Still, Quinn said it's always a good habit to lock your car and remove valuables from them when unattended.
