Smoke Fake Grass & You Might Eat the Real Thing

Blend had an NJ pair all mixed up.

Everyone knows smoking real pot can get you in trouble with the law. But apparently, smoking the fake stuff can get you in trouble with your landscaper.

At least, that's what we imagine might have happened to two men South Brunswick Police met recently. The Kendall Park pair called 911 to say they were in need of help after smoking an herbal blend called K2, ofter described as a "synthetic cannabis." The Drug Enforcement Agency has been closely investigating synthetic cannabis and several states have already banned its usage.

From : "According to police, one of the men could not stop moving around his front yard and the other man began to throw up after he ate some grass." They were talking about the kind found in the lawn, not the type found hiding under your mattress.

Not Where You Want to Be, If You're an Animal: Clark police are investigating what  Children found and reported a five-foot-tall stick structure topped with what appeared to be a deer or goat skull. Beneath the structure was a rock slab with a large red circle containing an X drawn in red, animal bones staked into the ground, two smaller animal skulls, an American flag planted in the ground, a white hardhat, scattered old tires and a rusted metal bucket. Near the path leading to the site were a few white animal feathers. What's even stranger (or perhaps not, depending on your point of view): police say these sites aren't actually all that uncommon at all.

Employees there may know a lot about bearings, but perhaps not so much about bears. “I tried to stare him down like Davey Crockett but it didn’t work. A Tree Grows in Westfield (But Doesn't Stay There): A Westfield resident recently noticed something a bit out of place—. The tree is valued at about $250 (though we can think of at least one person who'd say it's invaluable). Police are trying to get to the root of the crime. (We know, we know. Sorry).
