Update: Tangled Power Line Causes Outage on Springfield Ave. and Pawnee Road

Cranford police have issued an advisory message confirming a power outrage around 7:45p.m.

Update: As of 12a.m. Dec. 19, PSE&G's outage map still showed between 1 and 500 outages in Cranford. Calls to a PSE&G spokesperson were not returned.

 

A power outage is currently affecting the area of Springfield Avenue and Pawnee Road, according to authorities. Cranford Police said PSE&G is handling the problem which was reported around 7:45p.m.

Entangled wires are blamed for the current power loss, according to police. "There is no immediate danger," police said in their advisory.

No immediate cause for the tangled wires was available at this time
