In addition to an ongoing discussion on the aftermath of Hurricane Irene, the Cranford Township Committee will be discussing a few other agenda items during it's regular public meeting, scheduled for 8 p.m. tonight at town hall.

One item on the agenda includes the mayor's report on the township's new chief financial officer, Terrence Oneill, who will be employed as part of a shared services agreement with Clark.

Commissioners will also vote on an agreement with Mod Space Modular Buildings for the lease of trailers needed for the operation of municipal departments displaced from the municipal building as a result of damage caused by the flood.

In addition, as part of the the Cranford Police Department’s Cooperative Pricing System, township commissioners are also scheduled to award contracts for the purchase of a number of police vehicles.
