Two Arrested At Local Hotel On Multiple Drug Charges

The following information was obtained from the Cranford Police. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On April 26 at 9:25 a.m., Cranford Police were called to the Homewood Suites on Jackson Drive for a welfare check of a guest at the hotel. When police arrived and conducted an investigation, they found two suspects in possession of suspected narcotics.

As a result of the investigation, Patrolman Patrick Fay arrested Jessica McMahon, 27, of Winfield and Jillian Spaziani, 27 of Linden. McMahon was charged with possession of heroin, distribution of heroin, intent to distribute heroin within a school zone, possession of crack/cocaine, possession of prescription medications and possession of drug paraphernalia. Spaziani was charged with possession of crack/cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

McMahon and Spaziani were processed and released with a Superior Court date.
