Two Vehicles Involved in Crash on Parkway

An overturned vehicle has been reported.

An accident involving an overturned vehicle on the Garden State Parkway near exit 137 has been cleared, according to the New Jersey State Police in Bloomfield.

The incident was reported at about 7:50 p.m. Monday evening. NJ State Police have confirmed the involvement of two vehicles in the crash, however, no injuries have been reported.

According to the Garden State Parkway's Twitter page, one of the vehicles involved in the accident veered off into the wooded area on the side of the road. As of 8:15 p.m., state troopers were still on the scene investigating the crash. Authorities could not provide any additional information.

Emergency workers shut down two lanes on the parkway while crews worked to remove the vehicles and investigate the cause of the crash. No major delays were  reported. The crash was cleared just after 8:30 p.m.
