Cranford Voters Help Christie Win Governorship

Most town residents voted for the Republican candidate.

Chris Christie toppled Jon Corzine's bid for re-election Tuesday night.

The Republican candidate for governor won the 2009 statewide election with 49 percent of the vote, with 97 percent of precincts reporting. Corzine followed with 44 percent.

Poll results show that most Cranford voters approve of Christie's election. Here's the breakdown:
