Three-Year Term

The Township Council is the legislative body of town government. Responsibilities include law making, policy making, and hosting town meetings. The five committee members are elected officials. Committee seats are elected on a staggered basis in partisan elections. Committee officials choose a peer to serve as mayor, or head of the committee.
