The Board of Education announced new staffers within the Cranford public school district at Monday's workshop meeting. Here is a list of the new hires:
- Elaine Carro, leave replacement Spanish teacher at Orange Avenue School, effective January 4 through on or about April 5. She earned an MBA from New York University, a BS from Rutgers University and a BA from San Diego State University.
- Mayra Orejuela, student clerical assistant, effective January 12 through June 30.
- Aevon Watts, leave replacement Special Education teacher at Orange Avenue School, effective on or before January 20 through February 26, 2010. She earned a BS from Seton Hall University.
- Annie Heinverling, lunchroom assistant at Hillside Avenue School, effective January 12 through June 30.
