Cranford PAL 8th Grade Team Continues Winning Ways

A look back at the previous week's game for the Cranford Cougars PAL 8th Grade.

The Cranford PAL 8th grade football team moved its record to 6-0 with a decisive 38-6 victory over Berkeley Heights on Sunday. The Cougars were led on offense by Ahmad Davis' two touchdowns runs. Sean Leonard, Jack Schetelich and Chris Szekeres also added scores for Cranford. The defense was anchored by Middle Linebacker Niko Capello and a key interception by safety Joseph Norton.

The team has adopted the motto, "27 Strong" in tribute to all 27 players being an integral part of the teams success. They look to continue their perfect season next Sunday, Oct 23, at New Providence at 1:00 with an eye toward the playoffs in early November.  The team looks to become the first PAL team top represent Cranford in the NJSYFL Super Bowl on Nov 20th.
