Cranford Wrestlers Have Record-Breaking Season

With 20 wins (and counting), this 2012-2013 wrestling season makes it one for the CHS record books.

Now at 21 wins — thanks to a stellar 45-27 performance over Bishop Ahr last week — the Cougar wrestlers have logged the most single-season wins in school history.

"Cranford wrestling broke the school record [Feb. 11], for most wins in a season with a 60-9 victory over Orange in the state quarter-finals," head coach Pat Gorman told Patch.

While the team was knocked out of the sectional tournament by Parsipanny Hills last week, they continue the rest of the season with a solid 21-5 record.
