CRANFORD: REVOLUTIONARY HEADQUARTERS

The Community is invited to hear an illustrated talk  on  Cranford:  Revolutionary Headquarters,  given by Cranford's Township Historian, Larry Fuhro.    This event is sponsored by the College Women's Club of Cranford.  Did you know...?  Cranford was the headquarters and center of the front lines protecting General Washington and his troops at Morristown?  That a Cranford woman defied a British raiding party with the threat of smallpox?  If you're intrigued, and would like to learn more, don't miss this talk by Larry Fuhro, Town Historian.

Meet your neighbors, network, be educated as well as entertained.   The College Women's Club of Cranford has as its mission the goals of informing college women of educational, civic and social issues in the community, as well as to finance scholarships beyond the secondary school level for students who reside in Cranford.  Interested Cranford women with degrees from a four-year college are invited to join the organization.   The club meets the second Monday of each month from October through May at the First Presbyterian Church, Cranford.  Meetings begin at 7:30 pm, and a guest speaker at 8pm.  Topics vary from art, poetry, music to social issues, and more.  Membership is not required to attend the presentations, and we invite the public to connect with other community members.
